“⋯⋯Let’s part company. If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right; if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left.”
Abram and his family returned to the land of Canaan, where he had built an altar and worshiped God before. Later, they had many cows and sheep, so quarrel over the fields broke out between the shepherds of Abram and Lot! Abram valued his relationship with Lot, so he decided to give Lot the pick of the land, and he went to the land that Lot did not want. Lot chose the fertile and beautiful plain by the Jordan river. After this, God was very pleased with Abram, He spoke to him and promised to give him a larger piece of land with countless descendants! Abram continued his journey, he moved to Hebron where he immediately built an altar to worship God.

Play 3 times and give the person with the most candy a hug.
Abram remembered what God had told him. God would direct him to a place where He would make Abram into a great nation. God would bless Abram and Abram would be a blessing to others (Genesis 12:1-3). Abram had faith in God and knew that He would do as He’d said. He decided to be gentle and loving to his relatives, allowing Lot to get what he wanted. We must understand that it’s not always a good thing when others get what they want, the best is what God wants to give us!
Dear Heavenly Father, what a blessing it is to be in your favor! I will learn from Abram’s faith and humble ways, continue to read the Bible every day, and work to better understand your plans and promises for me, so that I can live a life of your favor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
