“I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

After Jesus was arrested, the high priest’s maid said that Peter and Jesus were in the same company. Did Peter admit it?

Jesus was arrested and tried. Although Peter followed Jesus from afar, when the maid said that Peter was with Jesus, Peter was afraid that he would be arrested, so he dared not admit it, and even swore that he did not know Jesus. Tell a lie that goes against your conscience. At this time the cock crowed for the second time, and Peter remembered what the Lord Jesus had said that he would deny Jesus three times, and he wept.
