( Isaiah 49:15)
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you !
Here is a metaphor, God loves His children, who is like a mother raising (even more than this love)?
The people of Zion thought they were abandoned and forgotten by God. But God compares himself to a mother who raises a child. It is impossible to forget the baby she is raising. Even if there is an accident, God will not forget Israel. He remembers and has compassion more than a mother who raises a baby. God engraved their names on the palms of their hands, like engraving on stones, and guaranteed that the children of Zion will return from all directions, and the originally desolate and ruined places will also be filled with residents, because the population has exploded and more land is needed . The countries will bring their scattered children, and the kings and queens of all countries will become their adoptive parents, willing to release them and surrender to Zion. Even what is taken captive by the mighty will be taken back, for God will save his children from punishment for their oppressors.
God loves us more than mothers love babies, come make a bunny out of old socks
Jacob (original name means grab): Abraham’s grandson, Isaac’s son. Jabbok’s ford was the place where Jacob’s life changed. Then a man came and wrestled with him till dawn. Seeing that he couldn’t beat him, the man touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh, and the hollow of his thigh twisted. Jacob later found out that the man was an angel of God, and he refused to let go in order to ask for the man’s blessing. So the man blessed Jacob, so he gave him a new name “Israel” (meaning the person who competes with God, the noble prince), and he is the ancestor of the Israelites. (Genesis 32)
When have I ever felt forgotten by God or someone? God comforts us, His protection and care surpasses a mother’s love for a baby, and saves us from oppression.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for never giving up, forgetting us, giving me parents to take care of me; you put us on your heart, praise you for your love beyond anyone else. Please always save me from evil dangers, so that we may enjoy Your peace. In the name of the Lord Jesus, amen.
